Spaceship-Cathedral Hybrid, eh? Part of me wants to ask how exactly that works, but the part of me that's pragmatic and reasonable tells me that isn't the point xD

I like this, I probably would've chosen different colors, but that's just an opinion. I like the idea of anachronism in the future. Which, now that I think about it, is pretty much the definition of Steampunk. So I guess while this doesn't exactly look like Steampunk, I think it's cool for the same reason people think Steampunk is cool.

Cathedrals are the ultimate reminder of something nobody does anymore; not many people build cool churches anymore that I know of; most of the new churches I see being built anymore these days are converted warehouses or something along those lines. The place of worship isn't really the point I suppose, but I really love it when places of worship are built to reflect their importance to the lives of those who frequent them.

Cathedrals are becoming a thing of the past; and for that reason every time I see an old, abandoned Cathedral in some city, decaying, with fire damage that nobody's bothered to repair, it makes me sad. And every time I see a modern cathedral, built with grandeur, to reflect the history of Cathedral building, stuff reminiscent of the stuff of legends, Cathedrals like this one, I'm overjoyed because I know there's still people out there who appreciate these things for their artistic value.

Actually now that I think of it, I should start doing something with those abandoned ones... Go take pictures of the things or draw them. There's so many of them it's ridiculous; and someone ought to capture them somehow before they collapse or get demolished entirely.
